NGC185 is a dwarf spheroidal galaxy about 2.0 Million light years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is a member of the Local group of galaxies and a satellite galaxy of the Andromeda Galaxy. NGC185 builds a non interacting pair with NGC147, which is outside the image field of the above image. NGC147 and NGC185 are both dwarf spheroidal galaxies, but there is an obvious difference: Whereas NGC147 is gas and dust free, NGC185 shows a considerable amount of gas and dust clouds, as seen clearly in the center of the above image.
