There is a group of galaxies in Eastern
Virgo, located an approximate distance of 85 million light
years from Earth. The center of the group is dominated by the
giant elliptical galaxy NGC 5846. Its nearby companion, NGC 5850
just to the left, is a classic face on barred spiral galaxy.
Just to the right is the smaller elliptical NGC 5845 and further
to the right is brighter NGC 5839.
